Book Embargo

I finished Eclipse. (yes a while ago, but summer is busy, what can I say!) Wowsers was it good!

I had ONE MAJOR PROBLEM with it though… I bet a LOT of you shared my dilemma……

I could not IMMEDIATELY sit down and read book 4… other than that, I loved it. Good news Breaking Dawn is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2008, so hope is near… not TERRIBLY near, but near enough.

ABC has a video interview with Stephenie, linked here, and yeah, its a fun interview. :). My favorite line in the interview,

“There are so many heroes out there who have super magical powers and they can do these great things. I identify more easily with someone who is just human. And I think that’s a lot of [Bella's] appeal. All of us can understand being just human.”

Eclipse was wonderful, and don’t forget that Stephenie is touring across the country, and I will be at the Mass signing.

If you opt for the former there are four books so far: The Eyre Affair, Lost in a Good Book, The Well of Lost Plots and Something Rotten. Look on your shelves! The newest in the Shopaholic series is out TODAY! Sophie Kinsella has written a new novel on Becky Bloomwood and her shopping exploits. It is a fun and light series that will definitely make you chuckle.

I have not personally read this series but her other stand-alone novels, Can You Keep a Secret? and Un-Domestic Goddess were both hilarious. Can You Keep a Secret? is actually one of my “staff picks” at the shop because it is honestly, just a GOOD TIME. From her website…
